Need a program at your community club or group?  Email me at   ndavis4935@charterinternet.com
I am the RSVP Coordinator for Coosa County, AL.  My office is located in the Annex Building of the Coosa County Courthouse in Rockford.  We are located at 100 Main Street.
RSVP is the Retired Senior and Volunteer Program.  If you are 55 or older, we need YOU to do volunteer work for non-profits in Coosa County.  There are no dues, no fees, no meetings to attend...  We track your volunteer hours and have an annual recognition banquet to salute YOU!

Part of my job is to speak to groups about RSVP.  As a part of the program, I like to do a few songs.  I sing to music tapes.  I am not a professional.  The songs are Classics from the 40s to the 80s...Country, Pop and Hymns/Gospel.  Most of my music programs are to residents at Nursing and Retirement Homes, Senior Centers, Community Clubs, etc.  I would consider traveling out of the area to do a music program.  There is no charge for this service.  Call me at 256-377-4935...
My cell phone is 256-404-8174
Are you into family history?  I publish a Newsletter each quarter. The DAVIS BUZZ is free on request...  buzzdavis@webtv.net  Our Family Reunion will be 9/14/08 in Collins, MS at the Meadows...11AM--3PM
Have a great day and God Bless America!
Prior to joining RSVP, I drove a big rig for several years.  Pam and I wanted to see the country and got paid by the trucking companies while we did.  They even bought our fuel!  We went to all but 7 states.  Of course, I had a life before trucking.  We were in broadcasting.  I started in 1965 and worked in the field until 1995.  Some the stations where I worked...WNDR, WOHO, WDDT, WEAW, KONO, KELD...more!  I worked in Top 40 AM during the glory days.  In 1970, I was featured on the Bootleg Top 40 Record Album as one of the top dj's in the USA.  I moved into management and over the years, I was the licensee of about a dozen stations including a LPTV.  W24AM, the LPTV, was a lot of fun!  I left broadcasting in 1995.
Pam and I attend the Goodwater Baptist Church.  Come visit with us...

My wife, Pam, and I went to Branson, MO for our 40th wedding anniversary in Nov., 2007.  We saw some great shows including Andy Williams.  This photo was taken at the Moon River as we stood next to his cardboard picture.
On my office wall, I have pictures from a number of political leaders who support RSVP and other programs from Senior Citizens.  During March, I recieved new pictures from three of our members of Congress in Alabama...Bud Cramer, Arthur Davis and Terry Everett.  On behalf of RSVP Volunteers, thank you for your support.
